Polk County Bridge 60558
New Polk County Bridge 60558, located on 330th Ave SW, crosses over Sand Hill River and consists of a 3-span prestressed concrete beam structure with a total length of 168 ft and a roadway width of 28 ft. Due to the poor soils at the site, the abutment inslopes were designed at a 1(V):4(H) slope to prevent slope failure.
To improve deck drainage and provide better aesthetics, the bridge also incorporated a tubular steel rail design instead of the standard concrete F rail.
